My name is Ross and my mothers name is Sharon.  Our project came about by compromise.  It has always been my dream to build my own house and Sharon loves to build stone walls.  It is easy to see how we decided to build a stone house.  However, the castle was the pinnacle of dreaming.  I believe that the king of the stone houses is the castle.  Once the decision was made, I started researching castles and I was surprised to find out how many other people are building modern castles.  I will attempt to link to the best sights for castle builders on our "Friends of Glade Castle" page.
